Saint Euphrocinos
Saint Euphrocinos, the cook, is the patron saint of the Chefs and everyone who works in the professional kitchen. He was a 9th-century monk/cook who lived his life with humility and such grace that made him loved by his peers and the rest of his community! I always hang his icons in the kitchens where I work, and I always light his candle (kantilaki) and incense in his memory. He helps me to work with peace in my mind and love in my heart.
